James Stronach - Manager

Manager, James Stronach, has a host of experience when it comes to the automotive industry, from driving trucks and buses, to working in a body shop. His days at iBattery are filled with a wide array of paperwork; including processing dockets from the day before, filling orders, sending batteries out to clients, and placing orders.

He enjoys the variety of people he gets to work with and help out with their battery issues. James gains great satisfaction from being able to help solve any problems, that new or existing customers may have.

When not at work, he spends time with his family camping, from October through to April each year and is heavily involved in Speedway. He is also a part-time medic.

Chris Panting - Sales Representative

Chris has 12 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for the past 11 years as a representative for Exide Batteries. Chris’ field of expertise in the battery sections includes commercial, caravan and camping, marine, deep cycle, stop/start, lawn and garden, VRLA small sealed and motorcycle.

Chris spends each day out on the road and covers the whole of Southland; including Gore and Te Anau. He also spends at least one day a week in Central Otago.

If not travelling around the countryside for work, Chris enjoys golf, fishing, soccer, handyman tasks around the home, and spending time with his family. A born and bred Southlander, he has recently purchased a campervan and is looking forward to many adventures in it.
